Yes the pictures above are of a pizza I recently ate in Providence, RI and is not from the great city of Chicago. Apparently someone here in Providence must take their homework very seriously, or must have lived in Chicago. Whatever the case may be, they’ve managed to nail down the taste and texture of making a near perfect knock off of Giordano’s stuffed pizza, and they’ve also done a decent job of making a knock off Chicago style thin crust as well.
Kudos to Sicilia's, as many have tried, but not many have succeeded.
If your in Providence and you are a displaced Chicagoan and don't already know about this place, find it, it should hold you until you can get back to the Windy city.
And if your from the Providence area and you ever been curious about what exactly a Chicago style stuffed deep dish tastes like, then this will get you into close proximity.
